Forgerunner seems better IMO.

I would say at first glance - Forgerunner. But I also feel it depends on your build as well. If you sport Druids, the -5 isn't that big a factor along with high expertise. +1 Marksmanship at 14% chance is, IMHO, not noticable. The longer cripple only applies if you use skills that cripple.
Foregrunner can give you 1% more damage if you take a couple stances along with you, and boost your health 30 points. Now maybe with a little added health always you can go for a major or superior rune, perhaps a marksmanship rune that will boost that attribute +1 or more always. Also if you have Elementalist as secondary you can through in Conjure Flame for an added +damage |

I wouldn't use the longbow at all but for pulling enemies.
The Forgerunner looks better during fights. If you plan to buy another bow, I would recommend Nandet's or Nundak's recurve. They're not too expensive (20-25k) and I like recurves. |

In Maatu Keep you can get a 15^50 recurve bow for 5 pulsating growths. Add some upgrade's to them (either as you find them or buy some cheap).

have a look at the little table there, it states the fire rate, range and flight time of all the different types. You'll notice a recurve bow is indeed your best overall option : aggro bubble range, a decent refire rate and a very low flight time, so you can hit stuff from relatively far away with a low chance of missing. |
